About T2G

In 2006 a great collaboration started between two Alstroemeria nurseries. The driving forces behind these companies are owners Bernard Zuidgeest and Fedor van Veen. Both entrepreneurs saw many similarities in each other and were both convinced that you can achieve much more together than alone. The forces were combined to optimize cultivation and commerce together. The growers also had many joint ambitions for the future. After four years of a starting collaboration, the company name Together2Grow was officially established.

Ten years after taking the first steps towards cooperation, the merger of two companies into one company became a fact in 2016. At the same time, in collaboration with other growers, an extra production location was started in Ethiopia to enable wider sales and an overlap in the range.

In 2017, Together2Grow became a member of Growers Association Decorum. Decorum consists of dozens of ambitious entrepreneurs who jointly sell their very best flowers and/or plants under one brand name. Collaboration within the group is central to this. We learn a lot from and with each other!

What makes the story of collaboration even more special is that Robin van der Knaap joined the management of Together2Grow in 2020. Robin started as a commercial force and grew along with the company. Fedor van Veen: “After more than ten years of Robin’s commitment to the company, we see joining the board as a logical step and we think that in the future we will be even better able to be The Grower for Alstroemeria and Florinca”.

We grow at three locations in Westland (Schipluiden, Poeldijk and Kwintsheul). Over the years, our cultivation area has grown to almost 9 hectares. Every year we grow more than 30 million stems that are distributed to retailers, wholesalers and florists worldwide. We do everything we can to supply the highest quality Alstroemerias and Florincas all year round.
