Alstroemeria grower Together2Grow Introduces Recycled Sleeves
With 30 million stems per year and a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and sustainability, Bernard, Fedor, and Robin demonstrate that innovation and nature go hand in hand.
The company is taking ambitious steps for 2025, from implementing insect netting for chemical-free cultivation and Full LED lighting to an upcoming geothermal energy project. These measures make the choice for recycled sleeves a logical step in Together2Grow’s strategy.
Part of the Charm range will be the first to shine in these new, eco-friendly sleeves. Charm is a line within Decorum, inspired by one of the longest-lasting Alstroemerias, the Charmelia.
The sleeves are produced by packaging supplier Paardekoper. The Recy Clear sleeves are crystal clear, fully printable, and made from recycled plastic waste (rOPP35 70%).
“We are reducing our environmental impact by making our range demonstrably more sustainable and by developing smart, circular packaging, packaging systems, and services. We are working to improve our footprint, both as an organization and throughout the supply chain,” says Chris Thurston, Account Manager at the supplier.
